Bossk felt internally betrayed as the Empire traced the transmission. He exchanged nods with the communications officer. Thenceforth, their communications would not be intercepted by a single entity. The Federation had perfected such encryption given its years to do so. "Will do." Following the woman, Bossk couldn't help but observe the beauty and size of the glorious vessel.

Aria & Massimino escort Bossk throw a myriad of corridors & turbolifts, likely so Bossk wouldn't remember the way he came. After roughly ten minutes of awkward silence, they finally arrived ... at another door. Only this door looked like a hangar entrance, not just another door. Stood outside the door was two guards, dressed in Black & white suits. They quickly let the three people threw.

Inside the hangar, one of many, the doors were shut, meaning no one could see into space. Nor leave or enter. The only thing of note worthiness, was a ship. A all back ship, no bigger than fifty or so metres. A Stealth ship. "Mr. Bossk, you've just seen a ship, quite secret. I hope you don't go blabbing off about it." Said Aria.

A ramp descended, no one came out, but obviously they knew to go in. The ships interior wasn't pretty, no in the slightence. In comparison to the hood, it was a poor mans ship. but the ships systems would beg to differ. As they walked threw the small ship, they came upon another door, one that required Identification. Massimino followed suite and entered the necessary commands to have the door opened. A minute later he was done.

"Mr. Bossk. I present to you, the Empress of the Galactic Empire. Sia Azlyn."

Bossk bowed, remembering his training. As much as he didn't love nor endure the traditions of and hardships caused by the Empire, royalty was still before him. "Your Majesty, a pleasure. I fear I will not have much time for formality, however. Pressing matters ensue. I would like to know where and how you managed to hear of this meeting. It was strictly classified. Not even our Senate is aware of what exactly is going on and where this is all going down."

"You tell me that you're senate, you're highest ruling body, does not know of a diplomatic union, between their ... less than allies. It makes no sense, why the Mandalorian's, our Blood brothers would align ourselves with you disgust's me. I want you to relay a message to the Manda'lor and the Prime Minister. End this meeting, or their will be war."

Bossk chuckled, shaking his head in disappointment. "The Mandalorians have been...somewhat friends for quite some time. It is you and your whereabouts that troubles us and the galaxy. I suppose you wouldn't have an issue with imposing fear into thousands of lives, now would you? or has the eternal Empire finally turned a new direction? Could the sun be dawning so early? A day that would be, indeed, one only achievable by the wisest of emperors. As for your threat, do you honestly think you can obliterate two galactic powers all at once? If you want this meeting to end so badly, why not contact your Mandalorian friends?" His passion for debating burned in his eyes, his mind flaring with distrust and sense of evil. His cunning move of accusing a Mandalorian of traitorous acts would surely cause stumbling to befall the boy king.

The Mandalorian Delegation had been startled by the appearance of the Empire, and the Alliance's urge to deal with them personally. This was understandable, they were able to continue their meeting this way. "Mand'alore, I must excuse myself to relieve myself." Prime Minister Baatir quickly stated, he turned towards the Alliance delegate, surely they'd know where to go.

"I assume that it shall be satisfactory if, I continue the meeting?" Mand'alore exclaimed after Baatir's statement. After all, even if a bill was passed Mand'alore must sign it to ascend it into law, or else he effectively vetoes said bill.

"Oh don't flatter yourselves." The Emperor retorted. "The Mandalorians are as much as your allies, as a Jawa values his new found scrap. They join you in this union, why you ask yourself? Friendship, nay. it is Power. The Mandalorians strive for nothing more than power. It is the life pursuit of many Mandalorians. The great and mighty Manda'lor himself, how many did he have to kill to secure his place of power, from would-be up suppers? More people than you've ever seen dead. Dear Inspector, that's how many. Mandalorians are people of war, their entire economy is built on war. They are not your friends, neither are they you allies. They are using you, just like everyone uses the Federation."

"Tell me this? Why do you trust the Mandalorian, their leader, he may be sincere. But is his Empire? How can you control this, trillions upon trillions of sentients. All of them hate everything you stand for, tell me this. How do you stop them from destroying your Union?"

Bowing, the President made a brief hand gesture, directing the Prime Minister to the exit. Chief Omar lightly chuckled, meanwhile mentally questioning himself; was the Mand'alore joking or being serious? "I see no reason why not. This is a Peace Summit after all. And you are here for peace. Now, where were we, Your Grace?"

Bossk clenched his fists as the Emperor so blindly insulted everything he stood for, everything he lived for, everything he cared about. Coming to an epiphany, the inspector resolved he would not permit this indigenous Imperial political warlord violate his internal barriers of peace; something he promised himself prior to boarding the ship, having presumed this very moment of deception. Notwithstanding, the emperor was beating around the bush and trying to discover a secret truth about the inspector and the Federation. Perhaps, he believed the Federation had plans of its own if this Mando-Federation alliance were to come to pass? Perhaps, that is the sole reason for the Federation's initial acceptance of the invitation to a Peace Summit.

Breaking the silence with a bark, Bossk erected firm and tall, his spine straightening. He would not allow this foul beast stand before a Federation aristocrat while in Alliance space and throw insults here and there. "The same way I am stopping you from clouding my mind with falsities." Bossk strolled through the room like a carriage beholding a princess waving to her people, vigilant of her position aboard this starship and how easy it would be to flood this stealth ship with soldiers at a single command. "Tell me, Emperor, are you born of the Force? Do you have unlimited power beyond your life's dreams? Answer me this and I shall tell you what you want to and what you must know."

"Tread carefully younge Bothan, a small bird must never leave the nest, for if it does. It is no longer apart of the family, shunned by those it once called its family. That could just as easily happen to you, only in this case, you'd be dead, not shunned. Your words are just that, mere words, on this vessel your words mean nothing. Berate, yell and angst all you desire, but their only words. Words that will never be heard outside of this room.

I also suggest, you stop pretending that I 'fill you with lies', nay young Bothan. I tell you the true nature of you so called allies, and you simply call it lies. What does that say about yourself? Not the most open-minded are you."

(I can't really fix any RP in there, so just words)

Massimino turned to face the Bothan Inspector, "They're called Assault Cruisers for a reason." The admiral said, a smirk across his face. "The main cannons are designed specifically for the express purpose of smashing against Planetary shields, and making pretty little ships explode in nice big explosions. Then she carries a mighty fine bite, in the form of a her myriad of other batteries."

The Admiral cleared his throat then continued. "Than that brings up the question of what it matters to you?"

Baatir hurried off in the direction pointed for him, towards the restrooms. He realized that the ship that had sent him was closer, nearly twice as close... So he made an unexpected turn towards his convoy of ships.

"As... As stated by my colleague, we do have some terms." Mand'alor Narir stated, he drew out and observed a datapad he had held at hand. "We merely wish, that the Royal Mandalorian Federation, possess majority control. In exchange all debts, public or private are erased." Mand'alor stated, he spoke softer than the Prime Minister. Probably because he did not speak much during negotiations such as this. He usually left such duties to his Prime Minister.

Chapter I: Diplomatic Tides - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter I: Diplomatic Tides    Chapter I: Diplomatic Tides - Page 3 EmptySat Oct 27, 2012 10:49 pm

President Omar did indeed wonder if the Mandalorians failed to function without the Empire. The inevitable was always bound to happen it seemed. How could they make such demands? Were they mad? Did they forget their intentions? It was they that summoned them to this Summit to make amends and recreate the roads that were divided thousands of years ago during the reign of Martok. Nevertheless, the President maintained a posture befitting the political head of state and government of the Federation and wouldn't allow minor...incidents, if you will, cripple these motives for peace. if it had not been for the Senate, he would not place a single foot inside this station near Mandalorian blood, but it was the will of the legislative body of the nation, the nation he urged to turn its back on the ways of old.

Now was the time for a new era, the Age of Exploration. No longer could simple technology prevent them from looking beyond their own galaxy; now that the galactic powers were established in this galaxy, perhaps the Federation itself could expand on outposts in the Greater Galaxy. Anything was possible in Cal Omar's head. Alas, sometimes him and the Senate didn't see eye to eye. If only Martok were here to give them his two pence. Who knew? Maybe him and Nuch were debating galactic affairs as these ideas popped in his head. Only time would tell. One day, someday soon, Cal would have to seek divine guidance. Perhaps at the Altar of Prosperity, the place where Nuch and Martok became One with the Force?

"That just will not do, my Outer Rim friend. You see, in the Federation, to get anything done, our people must be pleased. That is my number one priority--to my people. If I cannot accomplish that one primary task, I have failed and therefore lost my right to be Chief of State, President of the Senate, and, most important, a Triumvir. We do not have much debt haunting us. I believe you are speaking of those bias speculations promulgated by the Media. The Press can be quite a dangerous weapon if they so choose. Unfortunately, when the Federation is at its peak of wealth and glory, they want to deprive its people of all that it has come to achieve these past several years."

"If you would like this alliance to work out, you must be willing to make compromises. Once we become the Galactic Union, we split everything equally and are representative by our respective heads of government, in our case, is me and my fellow Triumvirs and you and the Prime Minister. I must say if your Prime Minister wrote that agenda of yours, which I suspect he did considering your tone, may I suggest he rethinks his initiatives before wasting my time again? That would be great. Master Jedi, I think we are done here. If they can't offer something that will grant room for unity, I need not be present at this meeting. I have a whole government to run for Force sake,"
Mr. President elaborated. After he rose, his staff and cohorts followed. Obviously, this was a plan of deception; he did the usual, 'Do it right or we walk' story.

[/size]

Massimino looked at Bossk quizzically, for a man who should know his own way, he indeed knew nothing about the Empire. "Unless you've just happened to become an Imperial citizen, who also happens to also be part of the Imperial Navy, then that's simply not happening. The mere fact you've been allowed to board this ship could be considered a form of espionage. Everything on this ship is considered Classified to all non-Imperial Citizens, my showing you of tbe ships plethora of bridges, would be Treason."

"To conform to your demands, is to go against everything we Imperial's hold so dear" Massimino said, before being interrupted by the Emperor.

"You have no reasons to inspect this ship and her crew, not only will it take a stupid amount of time, but it's simply not even remotely needed. I have come here today in the vain hope that the xenophobia of the Federation can be put aside and allow us passage. But no, you demand you must know everything! You Mister Bossk are an insult to everything your Federation stands for, either let me pass, or leave my ship immediately."

"Interfering in Galactic affairs?" the Emperor chuckled to himself at that. "You propose the formation of an Alliance between the two largest powers in the Galaxy, in what way does that not involve the Empire? It is the safety of this Union, the Empire be part of it as well."
